Welcome to Blessed Sacrament School
Welcome! Blessed Sacrament is a special place with a tradition of serving the parish and anyone else who wishes to be a part of our vibrant school community. We are recognized not only for exceptional academics but also for the strong service ethic that we develop with the students. This mission, aligned with Catholic social teaching, is descended directly from the charism of the Holy Cross sisters who founded the school in 1923. We are particularly proud of the leadership that our students demonstrate in high school and beyond: leadership in service to others and service to the Church. We welcome you to join us as we enthusiastically create scholars and athletes and artists and achievers for the future.
Life is a journey. When we stop, things don’t go right. -Pope Francis
2020 - 2021 UPDATE
Blessed Sacrament is currently operating on a hybrid schedule with in-person classes two days a week for all students grades K-8. We perform daily screenings of staff and students and have mandated social distancing and mask requirements. We will continue to monitor the situation and follow Archdiocesan and DC Department of Health guidelines.

It also includes businesses that have supported the Benefit, the Bulldog 5K, the directory, “Friday” folder, or provided discounts to the school as well as independent contractors who have provided services to our families. Any omission or errors are unintentional. If you have a small business or are aware of a BSS family who does and would like to be included, please let us know.
