Calling all middle schoolers! Join our award winning Debate Team! BSS Debate is a team composed of 6-8th graders competing in the Nation's Capital Debate League (NCDL). Students meet weekly and complete substantial research/writing assignments to prepare for spoken debate tournaments across the DMV 4-6x annually. In 2022 we expect there to be 100% in-person tournaments, as well as the opportunity for travel to compete in other leagues. What began humbly in 2018 has grown into a strong program (DC city champions, NYC runners-up in 2021) and we would love for your child to join us.
